InnoSpace and Nastda Holding join forces to invest in
Deep Tech Startup Driving BCG Economy Deep Tech Startup

InnoSpace (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Nastda Holding Co., Ltd. jointly launched the Deep Tech Venture project to synergize their investments in Deep Tech startups in responding to the government policies to revitalize the economy through driving sustainable BCG economic models with Bio-economy, Circular-economy and Green economy post Covid-19. The investment shall be focused on Deep Tech Startups that develop their business solutions on modern agriculture & food, medical & healthcare, energy & environment, and service platforms.

National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) and Innospace (Thailand) Co., Ltd. signed a Memorandum of Understanding to join their investments under the Deep Tech Venture program. It will be a mechanism to nurture the growth of Deep Tech Startups that utilize R&D projects to create innovative products or services.

Mr. Tortrakul Wattanaworakitkul, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Innospace (Thailand) Co., Ltd. said that Innospace has formulated strategies and action plans that focus on investment and development of the Startup Ecosystem to enhance the competitiveness of Thai startups for sustainable growth. Therefore, the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with Nastda Holding will complement InnoSpace’s strategies to support Thai startups that based their products/services on R&D.

Mr. Chalermpol Tuchinda, Assistant Director of NSTDA and Acting Chief Executive Officer of Nastda Holding Company Limited, said Nastda Holding is fully invested by NSTDA while operating as a private entity with a sustainable mission to promote R&D project commercialization and to create economic/social value. The company focuses its investments in Deep Tech Startups at the late seed stage up to Series A and exercises its network to assist the Startup to maximize their business opportunities and potential. We are very pleased to have cooperation with Innospace in the Deeptech Venture project. It will increase the effectiveness and efficiency of our investments to achieve our missions and goals.

The Deep Tech Venture program shall consider investing in early-stage Deep Tech startups with potential who utilize R&D projects or advanced technology; validated proof of concepts (PoC); address high potential demand markets; form high potential teams.
